Nearest Subway Station: Kita-Sando Station, Fukutoshin Line
Program Options: Advanced Japanese Studies Program and University & Graduate School Preparation Program

Summary: The campus is located just off Meiji-dori, a major road thoroughfare, but in a quiet residential area. It is very close to the northern entrance of Meiji Jingu shrine. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the shrine entrance (free entry), and enter an area that despite being in the heart of the city, is a green oasis.

It is a relatively short walk from the school through the shrine’s precincts to JR Harajuku station, Yoyogi Park, and Omotesando. The shopping districts of Takeshita-dori and the various side streets of Harajuku are very popular with students.

About 500 meters east of the campus is the National Olympic Stadium (upgraded for the 2020 Games), Meiji Jingu Stadium (professional baseball, home ground for the Yakult Swallows), and the Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium.

About 500 meters to the northeast, is the Sendagaya entrance to the vast gardens and lawns of Shinjuku Gyoen.

While the campus is set in a quiet backstreet, it is very close to hundreds of shops, cafes and restaurants. This part of Shibuya is a serious fashion design center, and there are many studios within walking distance designing everything from garments to shoes, jewelery to handbags. The are also has quite a few technical colleges and design schools.

The area is very safe with little to no crime, and well lit at night.
